My twin called and asked what should she wear to her boyfriends family outing at the local park? I told her to be comfy cute ie. like super cute jeans and a nice top, she said ripped jeans, tight shirt and some super high heels. What do you think?

Definately not your twin's idea. I like the idea of cute jeans and a nice top to the family outing. Heels are a DO, i dont leave my house without a pair. I went to a picnic with a red/white delicate heel with a bow on it. It was cute. If shes doing heels, do a cute delicate pair...nothing trashy
You know I agree I love heels but not when grass and chirdren are involed you know.
She definitely needs to learn the rule of "there's a right place and a right time for everything" and a family outing is definitely not one of them. Nice top and jeans are a DO. Even a cute dress an if she insists on heels as long as they are comfortable for her to walk around in at the park. But a tight shirt and ripped jeans is a DONT. she can give off the wrong impression to her boyfriends family like she doesnt care. i know when i visit a boyfriends family i find something cute enough that they will approve of and still conservative enough that it shows respect for the fact im with my boyfriends family not random friends on the streets.
Yes yes and yes! thank you. Giving off the wrong impression is excatly what I told her.
High heels? A DO if she thinks she can manage it without falling, or getting stucked by a heel in the earth... In which case it would definitely turn out as a DONT. A cute girl falling and getting dirty, definitely don't.
And it would be so sad for the poor heels. Just like a shoe torture. You can never know how the shoes will end if she has to manage with grass and kids.

And no ripped jeans, no tight shirt. Ripped jeans > lack of respect to her boyfriend parents, because they may not know that it's actually IN. They'll think she's just dressed like a punk. Tight shirt > They are not her boyfriend, she doesn't have to seduce them. If she wants to avoid akward looks from both sides, better put on a cute top.

NATURE

Dear Envy Friends,I recently received a book from a dear friend who works up in the Italian Alps as a lumberjack. The book's title is "Nature", by Ralph Waldo Emerson, and it was written in 1836. I am pretty sure every person living in America knows or at least heard about this writer, thinker and philosopher who, for some reasons, I link to Thoreau.Anyways,…See More
