We have done our homework. We read business books. We can make a spread sheet. We can sew. We design. Now comes the tricky part- getting our work out there.

What is the one thing we do make this happen? Is it doing the local markets? Bypassing that a going wholesale? Focus energy on online sales? Slow burn or huge splash?

Just some questions floating around my head. What about you?

I think every starting designer has those questions. To get where you wanna be and stay there is a long and hard way.But...i think aslong as you have the "drive"cause you love what you do...that drive will get you there !Cream always comes floating up in the milk :)

:) i like that

I was in the same situation with you. I launched it online and opened the first flagship store at first. but then I found many trouble that i couldn't imagine before.

From my experience, I searched the brand's target which is the working women, the office girls. So, I started to open a shop in the business district so I can find the customer around here. And once when I started to do the evening dress line, so I represent the line to the luxury malls to sell them to the rich people that who afford them.

But at the beginning, I recommend you to try to represent your product to the multi-brand store that their customer's target is closely with your brand/product.
