- What Connects You to the Fashion Industry?
- Adriana Marie Co. is a fashionable tee shirt line that utilizes the designer’s cutting edge sense of style collaborated with her background on the forefront to create a modern yet vintage tee that is comfortable, chic, and modern. Adriana wanted to create a fashion outlet that gives back to society in a positive way. Her family is her inspiration as she recalls growing up with personal development as a priority and remembers inspirational quotes all around the house. “Even if I wanted to get away from it, I couldn’t”, she laughs. You will find that the brand’s tee shirts are unique with a great message that is uplifting and motivating.
Adriana’s curiosity for fashion was sparked at an early age by her parents’ encouragement to pick out her own clothes and outfits in order to instill self belief and confidence in her own choices. She always knew her place was in the fashion world.
Less than a week after finishing Design school, in December 2008, Adriana was on a one way flight to New York City carrying only her suitcases filled with shoes and clothes….and a pocket full of dreams. “It’s been a fabulous journey ever since and the best decision of my life”, she recalls. She has worked with fashion houses; Christian Francis Roth, Tory Burch and Talbots. “I am grateful to be part of these wonderful experiences and I continue to learn each day”.
She has also been heavily affiliated and involved with shows such as B.E.T. Rip the Runway, Gen Art Miami, Culture Shock, Miami Fashion Weekly, Lila Nikole, La Perla, A Scarlett Affair and Funkshion. Adriana Marie has worked with Celebrities such as Jaslene Gonzalez, Tocarra, Jade Cole, Chamille, Bianca Golden, Bre, and Nik, all of America’s Next Top Model. Additionally, she has worked closely with Brandon London of the Miami Dolphins, Ezra, aka Buddah, from the reality show I Love New York and Terrell a R&B artist.
