What Connects You to the Fashion Industry?: The energy, the need to feel and be fabulous and the idea of new and shiny things has always drawn my attention. I now attend Fashion Week every season. I attend as press to get the latest on the new for the blogs I write for. Working in retail for over 15years eventually places you somewhere in the industry. There's a lot of interesting jobs (freelance) and I have landed a few. I even worked for a PR firm for one season. I love all things fashion(events, walk thrus, trade shows, etc. I'm there)
