I'm an unemployed fashion enthusiast. I'm looking to work in the fashion industry as a Stylist Assistant. This is what I want to do for the rest of my life. It's been a long and bumpy road but I've been through worst while in the military. Hopefully, I'll meet a talented fashion stylist soon and be at peace. I have a fashion blog called indiegoespop which I use as an outlet to express myself. I also started a jewelry line that is… Continue

Photographer Jessica Deal and I hooked up through the Envy site and put together this shot of Nyssa Calkin. (her first photo shoot ever) She is wearing an antique jaquard skirt from the 1800s, Chanel camisole and Czsch enamel belt from the twenties. Check out my other vintage items on http://www.flickr.com/photos/studiofortytwo/sets and Jessica Deal's blog on ENVY. The Manhattan Vintage… Continue
Let me explain a bit about my living circumstances - I live in a city called Brisbane, Australia. PTC, north of the Gold Coast, way south of the Great Barrier Reef - near Steve Irwin's Aussie Zoo. When you're a member of a certain 'subculture' (not to put a label on it or anything) within Brisbane you will inevitably run with certain crowds and end up running into people you would prefer to leave in your past ie. you learn fast to pick yourself up, brush yourself off, make small talk with… Continue

I didn't think I would, but I caved when I saw some of the Rodarte pieces. I was not that thrilled with the leaked images, and other than the slip dress (which had to be returned -- not made for women with "ladies") I thought I'd pass on all of it. But in store I found a few things I fell in love with, and more importantly fit and looked great. Here's a few pics of how I styled the mustard lace skirt with peach tulle overlay.
Since the collection is quite picked over, I was unable to… Continue
I do really agree.... http://www.fashionologie.com/3959455
...from the another-time-trendsetting great Peter Lindbergh!
Here's my opinion: Absolutely right! Thank's to the fact that I grew up with analogue photography I'm still working "analogical" even in digital shootings, which means to take care already on set.
... I'm tired of the "plastic bodies" and all these maniac overkill-retouch! Why we are paying top models and… Continue

Daphne Guinness known for her unique shoe collection dared sported Alexander McQueen's spring 2010 Alien shoes to the NARS 15x15 launch event in New York. I was waiting to see who would.

I have repeatedly seen how opposites seem to attract. A form of osmosis perhaps? You have what i don’t? Never a dull day? Whatever the reasons, I always find the results create an interesting “new” melange. Let’s take old examples of what was: converse tennis shoes worn with a party dress, a tall, blond blue-eyed man with… Continue

Corridor40---Lately, it seems like I’ve been going a little boy crazy–at least with my clothes. Switching my ruffled blouses for blazers and my sequin skirts for satin trousers, it’s only natural that I would eventually stumble across Singapore label AL & ALICIA. Designer Alicia Ong has created the perfect hybrid of feminine and androgynous-chic clothing that I can really see myself living in.
With AL & ALICIA, Ong breathes new life into our classic closet staples. For… Continue
