Trends: The Double Ring Thing

Double, and in some cases triple, such as the Erica Anenberg offering in picture four. When they first started showing up, I was a little hesitant, thinking that they would be cumbersome and uncomfortable. I did finally get one and am really pleased with the it's unique look and the fit. I haven't purchased another since, but if and when I do, It will be an interesting piece such as Little Rooms version (picture three), or something similar.…

Kate Hudson Collaborates with Chrome Hearts

ROCK HUDSON: Kate Hudson is designing — or, rather, collaborating on — a line of jewelry for Chrome Hearts. The line, called CH + KH, is a joint effort between Hudson and her longtime friend Laurie Lynn Stark, who co-owns Chrome Hearts with her husband, Richard Stark. It’s Hudson’s first design venture and Chrome Hearts’s first time partnering with an actress… Continue

Hot Trend: The Flat Form

This is a trend that I whole-heartedly embrace, having "copped" a couple of pair in recent weeks. I chose pairs similar to Madison Harding's (pic. five), and House of Harlow's offerings...both in black. Not only are they comfortable, but they look great, and work well with everything from maxi dresses to shorts. My plan is to snap up as many styles and colors as possible to rotate throughout summer and fall. Today I'll add a pair to my black, cropped, cargo pants, white tee, and cropped denim… Continue

Love Clothes But Hate Fashion

If such thing as the fashion soul mate exists, Tucker designer Gaby Basora and director Zoe Cassavetes are each other’s perfect match. Call it a sartorial SheHarmony.com. “It only took like five minutes of Gaby and I meeting to realize that we loved each other entirely,” said Cassavetes over dinner with Basora at Paris restaurant La Saturne in March. The… Continue

The Coach Duffle Bag

The Coach Duffle bag, which was designed in the 1970s by Bonnie Cashin, is just the sort of no-logo, no-hardware, no-nonsense bag that no one is making anymore. Not even Coach, which saw fit to put this workhorse out to pasture in 1997. But starting June 15, Net-a-Porter is bringing back the Duffle, as well as four other seminal styles from that era, as… Continue
