Launch Initiative nurtures designers by bridging the gap between designers, consumers and retailers. Launch Initiative hosts 7
Design Competitions a year, where aspiring designers and established
labels can enter as many garments they like into each competition.
The garments that win are manufactured, marketed and sold at no cost
to the designer, with their swing tag and label attached to their
garment. The judges for these competitions include stockists, TV
hosts, Design College owners and professors from NY, UK, Sydney and
Melbourne, Magazine Editors from Australia and UK based Magazines and
the Launch Initiative team. The competitions are run across
Womenswear and Menswear in Spring/ Summer and Autumn/ Winter, with
special additional design briefs tailored to the years events.

It costs the Designer $12.95 per month to sign up and enter these competitions. This $12.95 is a commitment fee to prove that
designers will be contactable, committed and there to remain as an
integral part of the label development process. This fee also gives
the designer access to all other areas of the company, which include;

• Business Coaching and Mentoring from Quantum Compass

• Financial Assistance

• Manufacturing Assistance

• Production & Sourcing Assistance

• PR, Branding and Marketing

• Fashion Agency & Web representation

• Access to our Online Boutique to be opened officially in March 2010.
