According to the USDA, peanut butter is considered a meat substitute. This has several intrinsic implications, the most important of which is the infinite amount of meat and nut innuendos that can be expounded upon when discussing the subject. You can imagine my delight when I happened upon just such an opportunity. It turns out, a good friend of mine recently launched her very own gluten free peanut butter spread. She calls it My Better Butter and of all the butters out there this one certainly does seem to be better. There are currently three flavors; Honey Nut Banana, Maple Pumpkin and Nutty Chocolate Chip. The chocolate tastes like Nutella on crack, but they're all good and totally guilt free! Better Butter has, 45% less calories than regular peanut butter, 50% less fat than regular peanut butter and 65% less saturated fat than...wait for it... you guessed it, regular peanut butter! Nuts in your mouth never felt so right! And, there it is.

NUTS Now, let it be known that I am not a proponent of nepotism unless I stand to gain something from the gesture. To that end, I spose it bears mentioning that I was given some free samples of the product so I guess anything I say from this point on could be construed as a shameless attempt to get more free shiz. HOWEVER, dogs are usually pretty unbiased and if the fact that my lil dogie Boo spent the better part of an hour licking Maple Pumpkin spread off of her nose is any indication that the stuff is addictive, then I say there's your proof! Dogs also love beer and the taste of their own crotch, but I digress.
The all-natural, preservative-free, perishable spread is now for sale online, so if you're super health conscious or just wanna try a new take on an old staple, you should go
